My career in insurance began in 1978 when I was hired right out of my High School Insurance class by the then President of the Independent Insurance Agents of Texas. I began with learning personal auto insurance and self taught myself homeowners, watercraft, recreational vehicle and then my favorite, Business Insurance. I attended numerous continuing education classes to increase my knowledge in the Insurance Industry and continue to do so today. I am a member of The Federation of Insurance Women of Texas. I belong to the local chapter, Insurance Women of the Metroplex for which I was Member of the Year in 2004-2005 and President in 2007-2008. I am a mother of 3 boys, now all over the age of 21, and grandmother of 5. I live in Richland Hills with my husband of 31 years and our 2 Rottweilers, Zuess and Miss Chevious (aka Miss C).
